Members of the community who suffer memory loss, and their carers, are invited to participate in a series of art workshops every second Friday from 9-11.30 am at the Manor House. For more information about these special workshops see the News page.

Art and photo restoration

The Society also conducts a heritage art and photo conservation and restoration service which undertakes digital restoration of old or damaged art and photo archives which have a heritage value.

Digital restoration involves first the digitisation of the deteriorated art or heritage photos followed by manipulation of the digital image back to a known or imagined original state using specialised computer software. The restored digital image may then be printed on canvass or photographic paper to produce a restored copy without risking potentially damaging restoration work to the original art or photograph.

This is art in its original and highest meaning: the subjective revelation of Spirit.
